This image was shot with a Nikon Coolpix 990 (3.3 mp) with a Fisheye lens (183° x 183° FOV).
Shot in December, 2001, it was an early, though unsuccessful, attempt at spherical panoramas.
Resolution was a serious issue along with the maturity of the technology at that time.
